Corruption rules in the country; the acceptance of mediocrity in all aspects of governance is necessary in order to function in business and far too many lives are ended.
China now owns SA in all but name and is quite content to watch the place disappear down the plug-hole of incompetence, all the better to make their final move in their quest for more raw materials, for more agricultural land and for more space for their population.
Zambia, my home, has already suffered this fate.
debacle • 8 days ago the self-enforcing crisis is believing that in the content of good there is some majestic repose of conscience.London Mine cannot raise the independent indifference of a society which has it's self evident strengths and resists conformism it is strong enough to live without. Aids doesn't make people desire medical aid, education that fails to compensate for lost ideal will not change hearts.There are few who have not run this path.Why save a drunken man from his oath ?People turn away the risk of recalcitrance thinking the ideals of force to retain the hope of subsequence.They do not unless just a judge of themselves and who today could be as worthy as that ?We should know that lifetimes of history have shaped us by toil and trouble. The people who should make bridges always throw away stones.How foolish when people suffer less in the time punishments can be better overcome and faulted judgement better made up..Sly world preaching justice to people who are self-enforcing anywayAs is it is., preaching is always heard from a shy and distant crowd of learned men...the risk has always been the certainty, with respect.

For if mankind can invent the dishwasher surely its overweaning humility will conquer even tenacious lilies of the field and leave them verdant and full of the modest fruits of ambivalence unto the dawn, borne on a host of dragonflies.
